How do I turn off the ai dj

The ai dj aromatically turned on but I don't want it, does anyone know how to get rid of it?

what if we don’t want it at all?

I wanted to remove the notification from my homepage and it added DJ Wrapped to my playlists and now I can’t remove it. It feels imposed, and I don’t like the feeling.

not sure if the wrapped version works the same, but you can try going to the home tab and scrolling down to recently played. hold down on the dj and the option to remove from library will come up.

My Question or Issue

Used the DJ just like every other time and now I can't change songs, play a different playlist, or listen to anything else besides the DJ. When I try and change to something else spotify crashes.

AlejaR All good and well but Sharkpop asked how to get rid of the DJ. And the same do I ask. I DONT want to se the DJ because I'm NOT using features like that. I'll create my own playlist, don't need any tips, tricks or an Ai DJ to do that for me.

So how do I go about to remove the DJ feature or at least have it STOP showing on my start/home page?

Seriously! I don’t know who thought this would be a good idea but they should be terminated. I’ve never been listening to a streaming service and said “hmmmm you know what would make this better? Having an annoying AI interrupt my playlist to tell me who I just listened to and what’s playing next”. And I definitely never asked for said DJ to completely change the playlist I’m listening too. Between this and the constant downloading of playlist I’ve already downloaded multiple time I’m about to cancel my premium account and use another service.

you can remove the dj if you want it gone. go to the home tab, scroll down to recently played, hold down on the dj, and the option to remove from library will come up.

No actually it doesnt clear things up. Please give us, at least the paying premium subs, the ability to turn off the DJ. I dont want to hear a voice when listening to music.

The DJ feature actually give me the variety that the daily mix wont, I just dont want to hear anyone talking.

It bewilders me that Spotify would be obstinate with something of such low value to users.  

Great if 99% or users put up with it - just let me eliminate it.  Don't want to listen to it or even see it on the screen

You do not supply a way to disable it.
I have a premium account.
I will cancel if you don't allow the AI to be disabled completely.
Your condescending NON- Answer indicates you are not trustworthy.

This horrible attack by Spotify on its premium customers should stop. The totally horrible so-called beta DJ is not of my library but still takes up more than 75% of my cell phone screen every time I try to listen to music. I don't want the darn thing. Get rid of it or I will get rid of Spotify. I especially dislike the voice. I also don't want to have music stuff down my throat, I want to be able to choose it myself. I don't want 75% or more of my screen taken up by a stupid beta icon. The implementation of the icon is not beta level it's rather pre-alpha level. Give users a way to permanently get rid of the horrible thing.

Tried all the efforts to help no luck but can see this feature is not a good one for lots of subscribers!!!!!! Remove it or I’m out.

Totally agree. The DJ is the worst thing Spotify has ever created, it’s patronising garbage. There’s absolutely no reason they couldn’t simply allow you to turn it off. I’m paying for this - I don’t want it.
