Hi there!
You can simply expand the folder from the left panel on the desktop app or the Web Player and drag the playlists outside of the folder. Note that you won't be able to do that in the mobile app, so you'll need to use either the desktop app or the Web Player.
Once all playlists have been dragged out of the folder it's safe to delete it.
Hope this info was helpful. Cheers!
Hi, this doesn't work for me. The desktop only allows me to remove the playlist from its current folder location to another folder...
I am the same. It does not work. Are you on Mac or PC?
This did not work for me.
Hi there @ymtx-wn_2dnx
Thanks for the post.
If you're on the New Desktop UI view, you have to select "Custom order" for your library before you can move playlists around. Like so:
You can expand the folder and drag out the playlists to your Main Library. Let us know if you need more help with this 🙂
I can’t do this bc I have an iPad PLEASE help. Thank you sweets
Hey there @Thatgirl13,
Thanks for your reply here.
Take into account that even if the folders you've created show on all devices, you'll need to use the desktop app or web player to manage them. You can read more about it in this article.
So, in this case, we'd suggest you use a computer if perhaps you have inconveniences with creating/ deleting/ managing your folders. Another user had a similar request (manage folders on a mobile), so they posted this idea about it. Feel free to add your vote and you can also subscribe to it in the three-dot menu. That way you can stay up-to-date with any relevant news about this.
Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need a hand with anything else, we're always a post away.
