Missing public playlist

Missing public playlist

I have a general problem.

My playlist Emerging Skate Punk is public and connected in my Spotify account, but other people cannot see it in my account. They even cannot open the link.

But I double checked and playlist is public.

Has anyone a solution for this problem?

Thank you in advance!

Hey there @nevergrownup,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

We were unable to take a look at your playlist from our end, which might be an indicator that this specific playlist could have artificial streaming detected on it.

If this is the case, we're afraid we don’t have any additional info to share, but you should've received an email notifying you about the changes made. We'd recommend checking that email for further information, and we also can suggest that you create a new playlist and add the preferred content to it.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here.

Hi Novy,

thank you very much for your answer!

I have gone through my whole emails, but I did not get an email like you mentioned.

Also I do not have artificial streaming.

Is there a Spotify contact email or number where I can get more help and a solution for my problem?

Thank you!

I have the same problem. My playlist has always been public and displayed on my profile and then out of the blue its grayed out for people who have liked it and cant be found anywhere but i still see it.

Me too

Today i got an email about unauthorized use of my account that that one of my playlists has been made private. I have only one playlist and it's still public?? What is going on??

I have a premium plan. I've been working on a public playlist with my favorite 1000 power pop bands. I have 3000 songs in the playllist now. I suddenly received a notification email from Spotify that i broke the terms of use, without any further explanation. Now suddenly all my playlist are private. When I send them to a friend they see an empty playlist. Does anyone know what could have happened or how I can get playlist sharing back? The problem might have been that I've added too many songs from other playlists to my playlist. Is there a policy from Spotify for prohibiting the copying of playlists? Mind you, there's an established canon in power pop, so if I have a 1000 song playist, about a 100 songs will pop up in all power pop playlists. Also, I've copied lots of songs from other playlist, but I've been rearranging and replacing and deleting songs from my playlist all the time, so in time it will be totally different from any other playlist.

My Question or Issue

As a college radio, we have this playlist that has songs from all the albums on our charts, updated weekly, that has over 100 saves. Suddenly, the playlist stopped showing up on our profile when people look for it. Even worse, on my personnal profile where I'm supposed to be a co-creator for the playlist, I cannot see the playlist anymore: I instead have a message saying it is no longer available and when clicking on it, I'm told the playlist is private. The other people at the radio also can not longer access the playlist.

Nothing however seems wrong on my work profile: the playlist is set to public and to show up on my profile, as it's been for years. It just randomly stopped working this week. I tried turning it private then public again but it does not work.

I do use Soundiiz every week to sync the playlist to other streaming services. I also sync other playlists, however they seem to be working just fine.
