My playlist replays songs from earlier in my queue

My playlist replays songs from earlier in my queue

Maybe others are having this problem too. Whenever I open Spotify again and listen to my playlist, after listening to about 3 or 4 songs, my playlist replays songs from earlier in my queue. When I open the queue, it shows 6 or 7 songs that I already listened to earlier in the day or a previous day. This has been happening for about 2 weeks and occurs on both my devices.

Hey @ThatAction27, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

When this happens, do you see a clear queue button in the UI? If so, click that and see if the issue persists.

If not, check if you have smart shuffle enabled in that playlist.

Hi,

No there was no option to clear queue and smart shuffle is not on.

Hey @ThatAction27,

Thanks for the reply and for checking!

Can you also make sure that you don't have Autoplay or Repeat enabled? Another thing that we'd recommend is performing a clean reinstall of the app on both devices to make sure any damaged cache will be removed. It'd also be helpful if you can open Spotify on both devices and start playing something on one of them to check if the queue is the same on both or not.

You can also ask a friend or a relative for their phone or laptop to log in your account there and see if you get the same behavior, as well as ask them to log in their own account on your devices to check if this is account- or device-related.

Keep us posted.
