My Question or Issue

When trying to play something, it gives a message that I need to turn off "Offline Mode". But I'm not in offline mode. So I toggle the mode on then off again. Still saying I'm in offline mode. I check and verify I am online, accessing the internet - confirmed. I restart Spotify. That doesn't help. This has happened several days in a row.

That's strange. I have checked on my end, and offline mode is not causing such issues. I'd recommend the following steps:

 

  1. Clear the app cache and retry.
  2. Make sure the Spotify app is updated to the latest version.
  3. Restart the system.
  4. Disconnect the internet on this device and reconnect.
  5. Disable any VPN/DNS/AdBlocker if active.
  6. Try a clean install of the Spotify app using this guide.
