Release Radar is missing

Release Radar is missing

My Release Radar playlist is missing. It's been missing since sometime last year and I'd really like to find a way to get it back.

I've read multiple other threads reporting this issue, but it seems that a more widespread Release Radar issue was resolved in September last year as seen in this thread.

However, I've never been able to get mine back. It's missing in every version of the Spotify app that I use: Windows, macOS, iPhone, iPad.

I've looked in the "Made for aaron" section... it's only Daily Mix playlists.

I've looked in the "Uniquely yours" section, but its just "daylist", "on repeat", "daily drive" and "repeat rewind".

If I search for Release Radar in the search box, I see a bunch of playlists made by other people and I see "New Music Friday" by Spotify, but I don't see my Release Radar.

Would appreciate if anyone could help me find my Release Radar. Thanks.

Hey there, @AaronMeyers,

Thanks for reaching out!

You should be able to find the Release Radar playlist by heading to Search > Made for You > Discover New Music. Could you confirm if you see it there?

If you don't, try performing a clean reinstall of the app - this will rule out any potential issues with corrupted cache and ensure you're running the latest version of Spotify.

Once you locate the playlist, you can add it to Your Library via the (+) button for easier access.

Cheers 🤘

I have this same problem but none of the solutions have worked for me. I have done a clean reinstall, cleared cache, logged in and out, etc. It is missing across all devices, does not show up under "made for you" or when I search for it. Does anyone have another solution?

Hi there, @DKnight83

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

Although this shouldn't have an effect on Release Radar specifically, If you haven't used Spotify for a while, it may have something to do with it. We recommend you keep using the app and let's see if you get a new Radar next Friday.

In the meantime, just to confirm, is the issue present on the Desktop app or mobile app? What about the web player? If you haven't tested this, try it and let us know.

Keep us posted!
