My Question or Issue
The "scroll bar" is missing again after an update.
As reference link and link were the same issue and both of them are old or solved hence this new thread.
The grabbable circle is visible if I'm on the "Your Library" tab, but disappears once I go inside a playlist.
What I've tried so far:
- Logging into another account on the device
- Clearing cache
- Clean re-installing Spotify
- Logging out twice in a row

My Question or Issue:
I have a lot of songs in my liked songs playlist and now when I go to the playlist my scroll bar is missing which hinders how fast I can scroll and find older songs.
Update I have tried deleting my cache and reinstalling the app. Neither of these have helped. I still dont have a scroll bar for my liked songs list or any playlist.
Need old alphabeticall scroll bar instead of these useless bar one

My Question or Issue
I sort my liked songs alphabetically, and there used to be a option to quick scroll to a letter when you would hold the scroll bar. Now that doesn’t happen and whenever I try to scroll fast, it just automatically goes all the way to the Z. I have almost 4000 liked songs so this has become very frustrating.
Hello
I am still having the same problem. I have tried a clean reinstall of the app as well as signing in and out twice to no avail. This problem has been ongoing for months, maybe even years. Sometimes the scroll bar will revert back to normal. But it's been at least a month where it has been missing and it's getting frustrating.
iOS 18.2
Spotify 9.026.607
I am also missing the alphabetical scroll feature. I dont know why this feature was removed in this version, it makes me want to not have automatic updates on.
Version 9.0.26 IOS
I miss this feature also. The new tiny bar does not allow for ease of use. It's not efficient at all.
I'm having the exact same issue. iPhone SE 3, Spotify version 9.0.32.638
I'm still having the same problem, and my Spotify on iOS is fully up to date
Aaaaaaand again…
Version 9.0.32 still missing this feature
iPhone 15 Pro Max
iOS 18.4 (22E239)
Spotify 9.0.32.638
i have tried restarting my device, deleting the app then restarting my device and reinstalling.
When scrolling using the system scroll bar, if you scroll too fast it will keep scrolling down the list until you reach the bottom, and all songs in the list load.
Please reach out and I can send you the screen recording of the issue as I cannot upload here.
Hey folks,

My Question or Issue
When I scroll through my liked songs, it no longer displays the date I added the song. This is an important feature because I use Spotify to archive the music I've listened to over the years. Music is very nostalgic, and I would like to scroll through the years and listen to music from different times of my life.
Here are some reddit posts complaining about the same issue:

Hey there @drdezmund,
Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.
At Spotify we’re always testing possible improvements and new features, so you might see something on the app that other users don't, or get a brand-new feature for only a temporary period.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us and will make sure to pass it onto the right team, as we always strive to improve your experience.
You can also have a look in our Idea Exchange to see if someone else has already made a similar suggestion. If there isn't one, you can give these steps a go and submit your idea so that other users can also support it. The higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented. You can read more about how your feedback reaches Spotify here.
If you need a hand with anything, the Community is here for you.
How can we get the date added showing again? Thanks

My Question or Issue
Please bring back the scroll bar and the date-added information in the Liked Songs playlist. These features have been essential for organizing and navigating music libraries, especially for users with large collections. Removing them without any prior notice or option to revert the changes is not only disruptive but also undermines the user experience. The Liked Songs list is a central, deeply personal part of how many people use Spotify — it’s where we save our favorites, revisit old tracks, and discover patterns in our listening habits. By stripping away functionality that helps users sort and manage their music effectively, Spotify risks alienating loyal users and making the platform feel less intuitive and user-friendly. Consistency and transparency in interface design are key — please respect that.
Hey @CIIG, thanks for asking in the Community! 🎵
Could you help me by sending screenshots or screen recordings of the issue? You can also attach the before and after versions so I can understand precisely the missing or changed features.
I checked from my end, and the liked songs playlist can still be sorted like before, and the scroll bar is still there. Note that the scroll bar could be like the one in your screenshot or the native iOS scrollbar. It is like a chip that you can hold and drag for scrolling.
Keep me posted. 🙂
https://streamable.com/r4gxeq as you can see in my video it shows one scroll feature working perfectly fine and another feature taking 4-5 separate tries before i am able to get it to register. This is incredibly annoying and is not at all acceptable for user interface considering the prior actual working option used to be default
