Sort within a playlist folder by alphabet on desktop

My Question or Issue

I'm looking for a way to sort playlists within playlist folders alphabetically. I am aware I'm able to sort my generic playlist tab by relevance, alphabet, etc, however that doesn't apply to playlists within folders on windows 10.

I've created some playlists in a separate folder for a D&D campaign and have them named with a number then the name for what should be easy identification. However, they are sorted by order of creation, with the most recent playlist being first.

How would I go about sorting my playlists in this separate folder on windows 10?

Unfortunately, at the moment it's not possible to sort playlists within a folder using the desktop app; you currently have to manually drag and drop the playlists to order them alphabetically inside the folder.

However, there is currently a Closed Idea in the Idea Exchange for an option to sort playlists within folders. While the status of this idea is currently “Closed - Not Enough Votes,” it can become an active idea again if it gains sufficient votes.

I recommend adding your +VOTE to the idea, as the more votes an idea gets, the likelier it is that Spotify will implement it; and you can read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here. It will also be useful for you to Subscribe to the idea by clicking the three dots next to its title; that way, you can be sure to be informed of any relevant updates.
