Hello
Plan : Premium
Country : France
Device : Iphone 12 and Desktop (PC) application
Operating System : latest iOS and Windows 11
My Question or Issue :
I'm french but I'll try to write in english :
I have over 1000 liked musics on my library. Whenever I try to search one of my musics from my library, it says "impossible de trouver xxx" (which translates I think by "unable to find xxx".
I just transfered from Deezer to Spotify so I transfered all of my music with it. I thought at first that that was the problem, but then I started to like some new musics directly from spotify, and I still couldn't find them using the search button on my library. It's really annoying 😞
Thank you in advance

Hey @Colard,
Thanks for getting back to us and letting us know!
No worries, in order to reveal the Search bar inside of a playlist, you need to swipe down on the mobile app. Also, you're right, if you want to look up a specific song in Your Library, it's currently not possible as you can only search for your playlists, albums, artists or podcast shows from there. However, if you'd like to see this feature in the app, we recommend giving this idea a vote. Despite its current status, you can still add your vote to it and if anything changes in the future, we'll make sure to keep everyone updated over there. Also, you can read more about how your feedback reaches Spotify here.
Hope this clears things up. If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.
Hey there @Colard,
Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community!
We can confirm our relevant team has been aware of some issues with the Search function recently and it's been reported here. However, now it should be fixed. In this case, would you mind performing a clean reinstall of the app on your affected devices by following these specific steps to make sure you're running the app latest version?
If this doesn't do the trick, could you let us know if this happens on all your playlists or only on your Liked songs? We'd also like to know if this occurs on all your devices or only on a specific one.
We'll be waiting for your reply.
Hello @Eni and thank you for your quick reply,
I've followed the specific steps you mentioned and it still doesn't work 😞
I can confirm it happens on all of my playlists (I just created a playlist to try it out since I only had liked songs)
It occurs on all of my devices : Windows desktop app and iOS ap
Thanks for the reply, @Colard.
Could you try logging out and signing back in a couple of times in a row on both devices to force a resync? If you haven't already, it's also worth testing with cellular data or switching to another Wi-Fi network: you can ask a friend/relative to create a mobile hotspot for you, or you can create one yourself from your phone and connect your PC to it.
Let us know how it goes 👍
I've tried logging out and signing back in 3 times in a row on both devices and it didn't work.
I also tested switching to cellular data and it didn't work 😞
Thanks for testing, @Colard.
Do you have another account to test with? For example, you can ask a friend or a relative who uses Spotify to log in to their account on one of your devices to see if they'd be able to search in their playlists normally. You can also try logging in on their device - this will help us determine if the root cause is account- or device-related.
If the above isn't possible, you can create a new temporary free account to check if everything works well there.
Keep us posted on this👍
So I tried with a new account and I found out something : I think I did it all wrong from the beginning 😅
I used the search button on my library to try to find my music, but you can only find your playlists there.
There is another search button on my playlist which I didn't see, and this one works well. I can find my music with this button. I swear I didn't see this search button before... maybe by uninstalling/reinstalling, it updated. Or maybe I'm just blind lol.
Anyway, thank you for your help 😁
