Stop after every song in a playlist

Stop after every song in a playlist

Is there any way to make the music stop after every song in a playlist?

Hi everyone!

My mother works as a dance teacher and she usually plays songs on Spotify during her classes. She makes a different playlist for each class. The problem is that after each song ends it doesnt automatically stop and the next song starts playing, spoilering the next dance. Sleep timer is not an option since sometimes she playes more than 20 songs, so it would be a lot of work to set it each time.

Hi there @Leo1722,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

Once you hit play on one of your Playlists, the playback will automatically continue until the playlist ends, or you press the pause button. In this case, your mother could create separate playlists for each dance/part of the class.

Now, it seems other users feel the same way, and a similar idea to add this option has already been suggested here - feel free to add your vote to it! Or you can submit an idea here, making sure you follow our Community guidelines. Others can then vote on it or add to the conversation to show their support.

Likewise I would need that option of playlists to auto-stop for playing songs at funerals or services in general, and I am sure most of my colleagues as well. Currently I always have to stare at the phone, reignite it when the screen goes dark, and than hit the stop button in just the right moment, which isn't a great experience for me as a user. Else its hard to keep the meditative character of the occasion. To avoid that I would have to spam my phone with playlists, which is somehow not a very lasting solution for me.
