My Question or Issue
As stated above I have two of the same phone. One I use as my phone and the other as my »mp3 player/ipod« (remember those golden days?). On the phone I have a few playlists downloaded, since I rarely use it to listen to music on and I have data on it. On the 2. device »mp3 player/ipod« I have downloaded lots and lots of different playlists, radio-lists and albums to listen to, since I don't have data on this device and work in places with no wifi. I have different playlists downloaded on the two devices.
Some days ago both my devices suddenly was running out of space and I discovered that my 1. device had started downloading all the same playlists that I had downloaded on my 2. device, and vice versa. I hadn't experienced this before, so I made a test and download an album (A) on the 1. device, and saw that after reopening Spotify on the 2. device it started to download album (A). I tried removing it and it was removed form both devices. I then tried the same with the 2. device and another album and the same happened.
I haven't experienced this before and I don't know if it's because I have two identical models of devices or if this is a deliberate change. Either way I'd like to it to be reversed. I now have removed almost all my downloaded music, because it makes my devices run out of space. I'm an avid music listener (hence I have a seperate device for it) and it pains me that I now have to be extremely recluctant with downloads on my 2. device, since it else will waste space on my phone (1. device) where most of the space is used for photos, apps, etc. Please change this back and disable downloads syncing between devices; or add an option for it.
