Unable to search or sort personal playlist

Unable to search or sort personal playlist

Hello everyone,


Lately the app has not been letting me search through songs in my personal playlist and also won't let me sort. When I drag down on my screen, I can't access the search bar or sort button that's usually at the top of the playlist. I've uninsyalled and reinstalled the app many times but the issue is recurring. When I first download the app, the search bar and sort button are there but a few hours later I'm no longer able to access those features unless I reinstall the app again.


Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

What device are you on?

Have you completed a clean install?

Interesting. Could you give us a bit more info on the device you're using? Please share:

  • Your device's make, model and OS version.
  • The version of Spotify you're running.
  • Any additional troubleshooting you've tried.

If possible, try logging in to your account on another mobile device (a friend's or a relative's would do) to see if you'd experience the same issue there. You can also ask a friend or a relative who uses Spotify to log in on your device and check if the same issue would occur.


In case the issue persists, please share a short screen recording which captures this behavior in action so we can have a direct look at what's happening on your end.
