MY 2025 WRAPPED SONGS ARE ALMOST ALL FROM PLAYLISTS I HAD MARKED AS EXCLUDED FROM TASTE PROFILE

I very often play chill, repetitive, low rhythmic songs like some LoFi, synthwave and such, only for study or work sessions. I don't actually love or hate them, obviously I like them enough to have them in a playlist but MAINLY I just use them as a tool so that I can focus.

The thing is, I deliberately have such songs in separate playlists not just for the convenience but also because I don't want these to be included in the recommendation algorithm, so I got them marked as 'exclude from taste profile'.
It was working fine, they weren't included in my weekly recommendations and such but then the 2025 wrapped content came out and what I was fearing happened: almost all my 'favorite/most played songs' from 2025 were not the ones I actually like the most but the 'tool' songs I thought (or wanted to think) were being excluded.

In my opinion, these songs that exists in this excluded playlist and nowhere else for my profile, should be excluded not only for taste profile but also for any content you guys create for us.
Does this behavior make sense to you guys? Please share some feedback on why this is working as expected, otherwise I'd much appreciate it gets fixed for my Wrapped 2026.
Thanks!
Luis.

Hey! Im really disappointed that you cant see the spotify wrapped on PC. Alot of us musiclovers are using spotify on the computer. Im looking forward to the 2026 wrapped already! If i will be able to watch it.

I hope there will be a review of the least frequently played or most frequently skipped songs in the "Liked Songs" so that subscribers can delete playlists or songs that are not actually played often.

I would have liked the 2025 wrapped if it was available for laptop users like Chromebooks, cause im a student of a French school, and my dad had blocked my access to links on my phone, so I couldn't even see my 2025 Spotify wrapped

The Spotify Year in Review was recently released. I always think it's great, but there is one thing that could be improved: ‘concentration sounds’ such as BrownNoise or the ‘Brainy’ playlist are also included in the count. However, I only listen to these when studying, so I think it's silly that they influence my artists and most-played songs.
It would be great if these things weren't counted towards artists' totals, or if a setting could be introduced to exclude certain artists or songs from the wrapped.
Please forward this suggestion to your superiors.
Thank you in advance!

Quiesiera ver el wrapped de un amigo que ya no esta en este mundo. ya que el siempre compartia la musica que escuchaba

Hello !

I would like to give some feedback about my 2025 Wrapped.

First problem is related to my supposed favorite "genres". Top 5 was : "néo-classique" neo-classical (don't even know what that is but I don't think the "neo" is right considering I listen to Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Scarlatti...), "yé-yé" (definitely not something i listened a lot of), "néo-psychédélique", "auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes" and "pop hypnagogique" (???). Those are all wrong: classical and baroque should have been the obvious top 2 considering what I listened to.

Next problem was with my listening age : 87 supposedly because I listened to music from the early 50's which I didn't really. Age should have been like 400 or something.

The Wrapped does a very poor job taking into account people listening to classical. Bach is not 50's music. And it's not neo-classical either.

Last feedback: I would have like to know my ranking for all artists in my top 5, not just the top 1, because I suspect I had a much higher rank for Scarlatti (#3) than I had for Bach (#1 = top 1636 listener in the world) but I cannot see that rank for Scarlatti anywhere.

Hope this will help make it even better in the future, I love this feature.

There's a mistake in my Spotify summary. My summary doesn't include any "No. 1" artist, but I I listen to too much "No. 1".

I find it unbelievably frustrating and invasive that there is no way to turn off or hide Wrapped. I have a widget on my tablet that usually contains the last song I was playing along with a play/pause button, a rewind and fast forward button, and that’s it. An easy way to continue listening to music without having to open the app as I am working at the same time. Right now, the widget has changed to a Wrapped banner. No play/pause buttons, my last song has disappeared and there is no way to dismiss this. I have to tap on it and get bombarded with audio and visual I did not ask so that Spotify can proudly display that it spends more time scraping your data than actually focusing on usability or function, which has been getting exponentially worse month by month. Why the **bleep** would you spent time integrating a snake game into your application when you STILL having fixed the pervasive issues with audio drop out, or providing more customisation for home pages?

And if you thought that once I opened and dismissed Wrapped, my widget might return to normal, you’d be wrong. The banner is still there. I guess **bleep** being able to play or pause my music from my home screen until the new year, right Spotify? Forcing people to interact with **bleep** they didn’t ask for is NOT the same as engagement. Perhaps stop trying so hard to be the poster child for enshitification.

I enjoy Spotify Wrapped, but I don’t think comedy albums or spoken-word tracks should count as “top songs.” They’re consumed differently than music and can skew the results. Separating or excluding them would make the music insights feel more accurate. If this isn’t possible, please make them as easy to exclude from your taste profile as songs/artists (right now I’m only able to exclude from taste profile from my Wrapped playlist only).

No puedo visualizar mi spotify wrapped a pesar de que soy spotify premium

Wrapped is fun but it would be great to have more control over what counts toward it sometime background or casual listening skews the results a bit.

My Question or Issue

Too many consecutive ads during Wrapped event, and all the ads are about artists promoting their Wrapped and Spotify Premium or Spotify promotions. Almost like 3 consecutive ads for every two songs. If it weren't for my playlist I'd have switched to another platform. It's getting to the point where it's overwhelmingly annoying.

Hi there, I believe a lot of my toddlers music was kept off wrapped as “non music” but would have loved to see how many times she made us listen to certain songs. I know yall try and hide “non music” but it would be fun to be able to toggle on all music for those of us who want to see pure numbers and counts of all music/noise. Product idea from a product manager - let customers opt in or out of all or just what Spotify counts as music. Thank you

I find that the listening age in Wrapped is deeply offensive. I listen to music very seriously, and the listening age is ageist. The reminiscence bump does not apply to me. I find it sad that Spotify reduces music to age, and puts it out there for so-called fun and entertainment. People of course engage because this society values generalities more than actual nuance. So I deleted the Spotify app and only kept the subscription because my roommate uses it. No thanks. I won't use Spotify anymore unless this metric is stopped.

I agree , I found it somewhat offensive and a bit nonsensical. If you
follow Mozart, does that mean your musical age is over 230 ?

It leans into demographics with worrying presumptions

I've posted my objections in the forum too

For me, average, neither good nor bad. Weirdest, however, is placing at Number Two an artist with whom I am not familiar performing a classical piece with which I was also unfamiliar. Yet still somehow Spotify says this is my second most listened song of 2025.

Dani

Is Spotify wrapped still available? Unfortunately I never got a chance to open it and am worried I missed it. Can it be recovered?
