Is there a timeline for the availability of Lossless quality for users in Canada?

Hey there @bobraptors2025, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Lossless Audio is a feature that is rolling out gradually, and is not available in all markets at the moment. Spotify doesn’t have any information on when this feature will be available in Canada, however, I’d recommend keeping an eye out on the Spotify Newsroom for any updates. Thanks Billy, I did check the blog, but I also found the following article in the community forum, citing that Canada is part of the initial rollout. If that's not the case, the article should be updated.

That is correct, however, it is through October and I do not have any information on exactly when it will be available in Canada. There isn’t a way to manually add this feature to your account. Just make sure that your app is updated and that you stay up to date through the Spotify Newsroom.

Why is this rolling out gradually? If we are all paying for Premium, why don’t we get the features at the same time? After waiting more than 4 years, this feels unacceptable.

Almost a month since the official announcement and still no Lossless in Canada! Way to go Spotify, the most insulting company to its paying customers!
