Hey there!
Thanks for posting on the Community!
Automix is a setting that helps for song transitions to be smoother, the setting you require in your case would be Autoplay 🙂
Could you take a look if that is toggled on? If yes, do let us know and we'll take a further look at what might be causing this.
Much appreciated!
Também não está tocando no meu iPhone mesmo ela estando ativada. Estou ficando chateado
Good to see someone else has this problem too. I have the Automix toggle ON, tried to uninstall the app, reinstall it and the issue is STILL appearing. I even tried to contact chat sypport about this and after 5 hours I gave up. Pretty much what they told me was that I have to uninstall the app and then install it again. 🫠 And now, after 3 months, the bug is still there. Automix is not working on any playlists.
Hey @venetvirta,
Thanks for reaching out!
Are you experiencing the same issue as the OP where after a song, album or playlist ends the playback stops? If yes, then this is most likely connected to Autoplay and not Automix as @Vasil mentioned. Can you make sure it's enabled in Settings and privacy -> Playback?
In case you meant Automix, keep in mind that not every playlist supports it. You can find more info here, as well as an example playlist, which you can test it on.
Hope this helps.
Hey! Thanks for the fast reply.
It worked with most of my own playlists too amazingly well, but then stopped working.
Its a pity if its now limited to certain playlists only.
That example playlist seems to work, but when testing another one, it is gone again.
Hey @venetvirta,
Thanks for the reply!
We can confirm that Automix only works with Spotify-created playlists, so maybe you've used Crossfade on your own playlists so far. It's worth checking if it's set to 0s in the app's settings under Playback.
Hope this clears things up.
