Autoplaying when pushing lock button

I know there is a topic about this issue but it’s 3 weeks without update. Is this in queue or how’s the situation. This auto playing is unbelievably annoying. Thank you

As you have noticed, this issue is under investigation.

Spotify doesn't have an exact timeframe on when this is going to be fixed but everyone's contribution in that thread would be helpful to them.
