I've been using the Spotify mobile app for awhile and I have been experiencing this problem only when I'm in my car:
0.) Car has been started. iPhone is on.
1.) I plug my iPhone into the car through the audio cable.
2.) Music starts playing.
3.) The beep between tracks with not stop.
Nothing I can do fixes this when it starts happening. I can turn off the car, kill Spotify, turn off the phone, nothing helps when I get in this state.
Does anyone else experience this? Can we get a way to turn off that beep in the first place. It's never once helped and is driving me crazy.
Thanks!
Hey,
I never use to have this problem but all of a sudden in my car i get this problem too through the iPod dock
Whats up Spotify?
This is also happening to me when my iPhone is connected to my car's audio system. It's sporadic and I can't figure out how to stop it and it's driving me crazy. Please eliminate this download noise, Spotify. It's affecting my ability to use Spotify in my car (where I like to use it the most) enough that I am thinking of cancelling my subscription.
Me too... Please can we just switch it off?
I have this issue as well. Hyundai i30. It happens occasionally when I plug it in, I just keep getting the connected beep noise over and over again. Changing back and forward different tracks sometimes fixes it. Very annoying.
I20 owner here, I experience the same thing from time to time, though not lately. However I don't believe it's spotify that is playing the device connected beep thing, rather the audio system. When this happends for me, I can usually solve it by disconnecting the dock cable and connecting it again, usually first try, sometimes three and also closing the spotify app completely.
I have this problem, only it is when connecting my iPhone 5 using a power cord to the Pioneer AV receiver's USB port. The constant beeping only began when I updated to iOS 7 from 6. Before that, the connection worked fine. Now, when I play any music using this connection on Spotify, there is the constant fast forward "beeping" through the entire song! I bought a new/better cord, but no luck. Please fix this Spotify!

So we are to believe that we just have to accept that we are being penalized for having our music device connected via a hardline usb cable? That is beyond ridiculous. What if I want to charge my phone/tablet while I play my music. I pay each month for this service, the least they could do is allow me to play my music through whatever port I darn well please to.
