About a week ago I thought my speakers had been damaged because the sound was so bad. I kept noticing that all the songs I listened to had compressed highs and overall the audio sounded tinny. I know the first thing you are thinking is check your preferences, and I have the high quality turned on. I mentioned it to a couple of friends and they said they also noticed this as well. Has anything changed because it's painful to listen to now.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
