Cannot turn off shuffle

I cannot turn off the shuffle function.

Whenever I play an album, it keeps skipping around to different tracks, rather than playing one track after another. Very annoying.

I noticed the "Shuffle" button is green; I think it's always been green however and I can't seem to turn it off (if it is in fact on).

So I guess my question is, how do I stop the shuffling feature and just play tracks one after another?

Hello @raustin , welcome to the Spotify Community!

Just follow these steps:

1. You need a Premium subscription
2. Tap the first song of the album
3. Tap the "Now Playing" bar (at the bottom of the screen)
4. Tap the shuffle button until green disappears.

It was never on shuffle before and i dont have premium
