Changing order of songs doesn’t work

when I try to change the order of songs the one I chose to play next to play will work but then I goes right back to playing what it would have played before even if I moved something infront of it. It also says at the top that it’s playing them same song like if it’s playing song A then B then C and I changed the order to D then E it will just finish A then play D then C, while the whole time it says I’m playing song A and showing the order I want. If I go back to seeing the covers it will say the song that’s playing is playing even if I wanted it to be another song and when I go back it will be in the  original  Order if I changed it. I tried to counter this by selecting songs and putting them in my queue but that only works if I didn’t try to change the order, if I did it just doesn’t do anything
