My Question or Issue

I’m trying to create a collaborative playlist with my friends and every time they click on the link I send it just brings them to the playlist where they are not allowed to add any songs. I am up to date on the Spotify update so it is not because my Spotify isn’t updated like how they were saying in a previous post about this issue. My friends are also using the iphone version of this app and are not using the web player to try to add songs. They have tried to copy the link and paste it like the previous thread stated to do and that does not work either. I have been able to make collaborative playlists in the past so I’m not sure what has happened recently. Any help would be appreciated.

Just to make sure, the link that doesn't open is the one you get when you tap "Add collaborators", correct? Could both you and the other users try following the process on different devices and see if that makes a difference? Additionally, is only this one, newly created playlist affected? To test, can you make a new one and try adding the collaborators there? If the new playlist works, then there's some odd hiccup with the other one, so we recommend adding the songs into the new one and using that instead,

Hi Joan,

Thank you for your response! No one on any device was able to add new songs to that original playlist, but I took your advice and created a new collaborative playlist and that seemed to do the trick. I guess there was some hiccup with the other playlist.
