Connect issues !!?!?

Hi long time reader and first time poster.

Up until recently I haven't had any issues with spotify but I get this really irritating issue when using connect through my iphone to control my spotify on my laptop.

The issue:
When I select a song from my iphone to play on my laptop some times (quite often) the song doesn't start from the beginning I.e 0:40 seconds in or even up to a minute through the song. It will just decide to start the song almost half way through.

Has anyone experienced this ? How do you fix it !? Cheers

I'm having trouble reproducing this. Just to check - which OS + Spotify version are you running on your devices? 

Also, have you tried reinstalling?

Hi James. Yes I've reinstalled both the app on my phone and computer. Both versions are 100% up to date. It's really bizarre.
