My Question or Issue

Content won’t load when using a cellular connection.

When I open the app the ‘connecting’ status appears at the bottom of the screen (and stays there) but the app never connects.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, updating iOS and restarting the phone, which seems to solve the issue momentarily but then it happens again.

I have tested the cellular connection and it seems to be working perfectly, it is only the Spotify app that is affected.

 

A solution to this would be greatly appreciated as I am currently limited to only using the app when wifi is available.

I called them yesterday through the Telstra app, I told them what the issue is and said it might be due to APN settings. The lady I spoke to checked it and said it looked ok but then put me on hold and spoke to someone else. She came back and said they did something there end and to restart my phone and check Spotify. I did that and it worked. They called me back and asked how I went. Said it’s working fine now and it’s been fine ever since. Ring Telstra and tell them what I said and to check APN settings.

I'm having this issue too! Tried everything mentioned and still nothing. Tried calling Telstra and was told to wait on the line but eventually got left hanging. Interestingly, Albums are not greyed out but for whatever reason it is only the playlists for me.
