Continuing to use removed tracks that have been synced

I currently use an older iPhone 4 as an iPod of sorts to sync most of my Spotify library to, and I then keep the phone on airplane to save battery.

Ever since Neil Young's catalog was removed from Spotify, I've avoided turning the wifi on on the phone to avoid losing his music that was downloaded for offline use. However I now have new music that I would like to sync to my phone.

If I reconnect the phone to a wifi connection will the music be removed?

Hello @distortion896 & welcome to the Community!

I'm afraid that, yes, the music will be removed.

However, Spotify cannot stay without connection for 30 days. This means that after 30 days go by, Spotify will ask you to connect to internet, otherwise songs won't be available. Not even offline.

Hope this cleared out some questions. ♫
