Controlling iPad playback from Macbook

Hi, 

I have an iPad which is hooked up to my hifi amplifier, I'm planning on using it to play spotify. I know there are loads of ways of controlling the ipad through an Iphone, and even controlling my macbook with an iphone or ipad.
But I cant find anything anywhere about using my macbook to control the ipad, does anyone have any ideas?

You will be able to control your iPad with your mac in an update coming to the Spotify desktop app in 2015.

In 2015, Spotify will be adding connect to the desktop app so you will be able to control other devices.
