Different volume

Different volume

Hello.

Not really an issue but i have a iPhone 8 Plus and a iPad mini 2. When I listen to music through my Bluetooth headset the volume is much louder on the iPad compared to the iPhone. I wonder why that is?

It also seems to that the sound quality is better on the iPad, even though both devices are set to high sound quality in the settings.

Hey @M4rt1n41

That's pretty interesting. The iPad volume level is higher then the iPhone when set at the same volume percentage? A few things that came to my mind to check...

Are you using an equalizer on one or both devices? That can effect volume levels.

Do you have a volume limit set on one or both devices?

Under Music Quality in Settings, there is an option to adjust the volume level for your environment. Are they set the same?

Those are a few suggestions I have to look into. Let me know what you find!

Yes the volume is louder on the iPad.

It’s not much but it’s noticable.

Specially on louder volumes. As if it has more power to drive the headphones... even though they are wireless.

No equalizer active, no volume limit active and same volume level environment. Both devices are set exactly the same in terms off volume settings.
