Disable Spotify Connect

Was just wondering if there is any way to turn off spotify connect. It's really annoying because I share my account with my sibiling and we can't listen to music seperately. I would get spotify family, but it's $15 and it would only be my sister and I using it. Hopefully someone can help, please and thank you.

Welcome to Spotify Community!

It's not possible to disable Spotify connect and you can play only on one device at a time, but you can have 3 offline devices. 

So one of you has to go offline - just download the music and go to File->Offline mode on Desktop 🙂
