Downloading?

In app spotify keeps saying that it is downloading songs, but i havent attempted to download anything recently. And it is taking up storage space (I know this because my phone slows down and because my phone notifies me that am out of space) but nothing gets added to my downloaded songs?? I dont know what it is downloading but i would like to find out because it is making my phone full to the unresponsive level and it is fairly irritating. Is there any way to see a full list of my download history or what things i have set to download to offline?
