Family plan code? Never received a code

I have upgraded to family plan. Invited my son as it instructs. He goes to join and asks for a code. I was not sent a code where do I find this code ??? Please help. Not very user friendly at all

The code should be in the email that was sent to your son. Can you ask your son if he can find it there?
