Hearts included after every song on the liked songs page

My Question or Issue

Anyone else think the hearts next to each song name on the liked song page (in your library) is redundant?

There have been several instances now where I accidentally hit one while scrolling through my songs and I inadvertently remove that song from my library because hitting the heart again implies I want to unlike/remove the song.

If it’s on my liked songs page… isn’t it implied I like it? Not to mention pressing the 3 dots (also at the end of every song name) also gives me the option to unlike the song and therefore remove it from my page.

Because I have a fair amount of total songs saved, unless I am *actually* able to get a good look at the song before I accidentally unlike it, I lose it. I don’t know what was removed in a few instances because it happened so fast and by accident. Anyone else feel this way?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Your feedback on the design of the Liked Songs section is appreciated. I know it's awkward when you accidentally hit the Hear Button on a liked song and it gets removed from the list and I've passed your feedback on to the right folks at Spotify who are working making the app UI more friendly and intuitive to use 🙂

We've had similar requests in the past, but we don't have any news if and when such a change to the interface would be implemented.

The heart is still there and since my last post there have been 10+ songs I’ve still managed to accidentally unlike because I hit the heart when I didn’t mean to.

Again, this seems super redundant because if you just click the 3 dots to the right of every song you can still unlike it there - without having to worry about *accidentally* removing it, since you’d have to deliberately hit the 3 dots to choose to remove a like.

I have nearly 3,000 songs in my likes and sometimes it happens so fast I don’t know what the song I just unliked was, meaning it might be gone forever unless I somehow remember it. 

Any chance this can be removed or something?
