How do you turn off the Mini Connected function? I don't want to use it. The user interface and responsiveness through the car is exceedingly slow and frustrating.

 

I have to choose between charging my phone and listening to the (gasp!) radio or having my phone battery die while listening to Spotify, then it dies and I have no phone or Spotify. Oh the humanity!

 

Please, anyone know how to disable this?

I have tried to upload an old Spotify version to my iPhone to na avail!!! Its also driving me nuts besides I have no album art with my iPhone 6 plus. Its a new cooper s so you would expect more. BM have no upgrades for this car....
