Intermittent volume lowering at same locations while driving

My Question or Issue

I connect my iPhone to my car using Bluetooth and play Spotify that way. From time to time while driving, the volume will lower but it's usually at the same locations. For example, there's a right turn I take on my way to work where I almost always expect the volume to lower. I've tested this with the basic Music/iTunes app on the phone and the volume never lowers regardless of where I drive. Since the volume doesn't lower in the Music app but it does in Spotify obviously makes me think it's a setting in Spotify somewhere, but I haven't been able to find one that would fix this issue. It's actually been doing this for a while, so it's not tied to the latest Spotify or iOS update. I've just been living with it. Any help is appreciated.
