Iphone notifications for new inbox message not working

iphone push notification stopped working.  Used to work flawlessly as friends would send songs or reply to songs I sent to them.  I would even receive a nice notification on my apple watch.  For some reason all notifications have stopped.  I won't know I have a new message or reply until I check my app or laptop.  I have triple checked that iphone notifications are turned on for spotify.  I have also checked settings in spotify settings and preferences.  I have tried uninstalling app, signing out and back in, restarting phone, resetting network.  Nothing has worked. Can anyone help??

Nope. And apparently the whole messaging feature is completely eliminated now. Not enough people using it I guess. 😞
