Issue with previous track button

When playing music from Spotify through USB on my car radio the previous track button skips to the next song. Pressing the previous track button once starts the song from the top, as it should, but pressing it again skips to the next song. I know it’s not a compatibility issue, as other iPhones connected to the radio never has this issue.

At first I thought this may have been the connectors in the lightningbolt port but I recently discovered that the previous track button works in the Apple Music app. I tried a complete reinstall of Spotify, which didn’t do much.

I can see that I’ve still not gotten any answer here. Anyways, found a thread with someone else having the same issue. The requestor didn’t reply to your questions but in my case I’m not listening to radio or daily mix. This happens in any playlist.
