Local file issue

So Spotify is not letting me download my local files onto my IPhone. I have them all in the playlist I want to download and am connected to same wifi while trying to download them. I have Spotify open on my phone and on my computer at the same time and still it will not download the local files on each playlist. Anyone else come across this issue and/or know the solution? I have the IPhone 7 and am using a Lenovo with windows 10. Thanks!

Make sure you have enough space on your iphone. I don't know why but when I started deleting songs from the playlist and making more space on my phone a notification popped up saying I needed more space to download songs and all of my local files started appearing on my playlist. Also I had my apple music open on my phone when they started appearing and I had the playlist with my local files on my desktop set to download too. So idk if this works but I hope it does for you.
