Hey there @juliasalha,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community, and welcome 🙂

Would you mind letting us know if the app is crashing or if you noticed the music being changed to something different?

Also, is it still happening even when you're browsing the app?

Keep us posted!

Hello,

I am having similar issues to OP. The app is not crashing, it is just pausing the music randomly and without cause or interference.

I have the app fully updated, WiFi is solid, Cache cleared, but the issue persists.

I've run Spotify on 2 different phones, a tablet, laptop, and used the web player on desktop, all have this issue. Some wired (AUX) through a sound system, device speakers, and headsets/earphones, some also using Bluetooth, all effected.

Hope this helps,

Thanks

Hi Hi @Novy!

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!

I believe I may have found the solution to the issue (at least for me). I'll be running Spotify and testing it out for the next few hours. However, on my desktop I also had Discord running in the background, and apparently (unbeknownst to me) Discord has a Spotify Auto-Pause feature so as to comply with Spotify guidelines. A link to the page detailing this is below:

If this does not resolve the issue, I will return to this chat (and post about it) to follow the links provided by you. However, before signing up to the community for support, I had already changed my password and de-linked my apps.!

Hope this helps! 🙂

Hi @Novy

The app is not crashing, just pausing randomly.

But I think I found a solution, although I don't know what I did to stop this issue.

I just started to try every single aspect of configuration in my phone, app and third party apps. I think it should have something to do with my login in Facebook. Since I changed the password and logged in by e-mail, not by social network anymore.

Might have worked since it stopped to pause my music.

Hey @juliasalha,

Thanks for getting back to us with this info.

Let us know if everything keeps working fine after a few days. This might help other users experiencing this issue as well.
