Music stops whenever I go to upload to Instagram - why?

Why does the music ALWAYS stop playing whenever I go to upload a post or story to Instagram?
It was never like this for years, and then it suddenly started happening fairly recently out of the blue.

Would you mind letting us know the make, model, OS version and Spotify version running on the device in which you're having this issue? 

 

We'd also recommend making sure that your Instagram app is fully updated.

Thanks for your reply. 

 

Keep in mind that we need the exact Spotify version and the exact iOS version running on your iPhone in order to be able to take a good look at your issue. Please make sure to send these. 

 

On the other hand, it'd be helpful to know if you've been able to replicate this issue when you log into your account using a different mobile device.

Thank you for keeping in touch and for the info you shared.

 

We see that you've previously asked this question and reported this issue to us. We've suggested a clean reinstalling the app, as this will remove any corrupted files from previous installations that might interfere with the app's performance on your device. In addition, this won't make you lose your playlists and songs, you'll need to re-download your offline music and podcasts afterwards.
 

If the issue is caused by the Spotify app - uninstalling and reinstalling the app might help you solve it. 

 

In case you're still experiencing this after a reinstall - we'd have to assume that the behavior is caused by your device's or by Instagram's settings and we'll not be able to solve it with troubleshooting from our end. 

 

We'll make sure to pass this onto the right team and we'll work on improving the functionality together with Instagram, as Spotify constantly strives to refine the user experience.
