Does the Spotify App store offline songs on iPhone more than once if a song is on more than one playlist?

Also, what is the purpose of the Available Offline switch in individual Albums if they can't be listened to in that format offline?

Answer to your first question:

The song will only be stored once, even if the song is in multiple playlists.

Yes, if you have made an album available for offline use, each song in the album will only be stored once, even if the songs are in a playlist.

No matter where you download it for offline use (playlist page, album page, or artist page) it will only be stored once.

The Spotify app stores the song once, allowing it to be played offline, whether you play it from a playlist, an album page, or an artist page.
