Hello from Spotify - Introduce Yourself

Hello everybody, I'm new to spotify and been set up a month now but i am in need of help. I just cannot seem to get my ipod seen on the devices page so i can sync all my new playlists.

I have followed the online help but still not working. Its the first time i have tried to use the ipod
