Remove spotify from Mac?

I have the free version of Spotify on my Mac. I cannot play any Spotify songs on my iPhone or iPad. If I remove Spotify from the Mac and install it on my iPad, will I then be able to access my playlists? I have TONS of songs on my account and would like to play them on the iPad. I do not want to create a new acct, thus recreating my playlists. THANKS.

The Spotify mobile apps require a Spotify premium subscription. You can find an overview and comparison between free and paid accounts over here.
