Renaming blend doesn't work

When attempting to rename a blend, clicking "Rename" in the little three dot menu causes the menu to pop up for a second then disappear. This same behavior occurs when choosing "View Blend Story" and "Add Members." These menus behave just fine on my Android phone.

so i just opened spotify and sims there is a new update so now you can rename your blend playlists uh so let's just try to do it so here is for example my blend so what is bland you can create a blend with your friends up to 10 people you can invite people and it will be automatically generated playlist from the top tracks of you and your friends um yep so this is basically how it works and um yep it it will be automatically updated based on tracks which you are listening and now i guess you can edit name and you can just give your playlist a name so it's a new feature update and then you can just give this playlist a name and tap done

As of 28 June 22, this is still not working. I've updated spotify and still no option to rename blends.

Thanks for posting.

Could you tell us the brand/model and operating system of the device you're using? What's the Spotify version on your device?

Also posting a short video recording of the renaming process would help us out a lot.

It's important for us to know if this is happening only on an iPad so we can pass the info to our developers as described in this thread.

My Question or Issue:

I created a Blend playlist, but when I click on the 3 dots, the "rename" option isn't there, on both Desktop and Mobile. I know it's possible to rename Blends because I'm in Blends that have been renamed by other people, but I can't rename one that I made myself, the option doesn't even appear. (Image below is what I see on Desktop)

I'm sorry to hear that.

The blend feature has been around for a while but works are still in progress to improve and develop it.

At the moment, not everyone is able to rename their blends, myself included.

I think the updates will be reflected eventually on most accounts out there.

So it's not an issue with your app/devices.

My Question or Issue

It is not possible to rename a Spotify Blend on the Android app (the function literally doesn't exist with the menu/three dots), but it is possible in the IOS app (on the same Blend).

With a friend (with IOS) we tried on several Blends (some that I had created & some that he had). It made no difference. It appears that the function simply does not exist within the Android app, yet it does in the IOS app.

I have attached a screenshot of the available options when you click the three dots/ellipsis within a blend on Android to demonstrate that the 'rename' function is not there.

Why is a feature like this available for IOS but not Android users!?
