Shuffle or Refresh Daily Mix

PLEASE don't come back to this post with a "Improve the Daily Mix with the heart or the 'do not like' buttons". That seems to be the standard answer to all questions about the Daily Mix.

Right. That is now out of the way.

My "Daily" mixes remain exceptionally static. Always starts with exactly the same songs. Maybe if I listen 4 hours in a row, the new songs will start to replace the existing songs, but I usually listen for about 30 - 60 mins and would then want to continue lets say the next day. But if I go to the Daily Mix again the next day, it will start with the same songs again... If there was a shuffle option, this might be ok-ish. But without the shuffle the Daily Mix simply does not work for me. Which is a HUGE shame, because it's SOOOO much beter than the "Discover Weekly" which has not suggested even ONE song that I like....

So. Who can help me get a better experience? That I can either "force a refresh" of the list. Or where I can turn on the shuffle. Or something else. And please (I repeat) don't say I need to use the heart or other button. I am using that but outside of putting all songs I think are ok into my library (which I actually do not want), the buttons aren't doing anything for me (at least not that I know of).

I loved the Dialy Mix to start with but it's just another playlist now. 

Be really good to have a refresh or at minimum shuffle option.

Completely agree. It's a great feature, but without shuffle it becomes pretty useless very quickly, making person listen same songs again and again. For the first time I was listening for at least several hours. But after that to get to new stuff will take same time of listening same music. It became "My Permanent mix" mix instead of "My Daily mix". It does not help that there are five or six of different mixes, since of course problem exists in all of them. I can of course go to listening queue and try to skip bunch of song I've heard already going through multiple pages of queue, but it's weird and very inconvenient way of dealing with issue. Please include "Daily Mix Shuffle" feature with upcoming software updates.

Same issue. Also, I don't like using the heart button because it saves the song to my song list. I like to use that list for other purposes. Why are there two buttons (tick and heart) that do the same thing? Does the daily mix learn from the songs I add to my song list with the tick as well?

Sometimes I think my release radar is better than the daily mixes. Still only gets changed once a week tho...

Wholeheartedly agree. Please create a shuffle function on the daily mix - shuffle keeps  the mix and music fresh and engaging (which is why I assume Spotify provides a daily mix). thanks for considering this post.

clearly support sucks here at spotify, literally 0 support, same happening to me.
