Shuffle playlist doesn't work correctly

Shuffle playlist doesn't work correctly

My Question or Issue

Shuffle on iOS removes duplicate songs from my playlist. The playlist has 40 entries (10 duplicates), but shuffle only plays the 30 unique songs. When shuffle is off, all 40 songs appear. When I turn shuffle on, duplicates disappear from the queue. The duplicates appear on smart shuffle. This started after updating to Spotify version 9.1.32.2081. I'm now on version 9.1.62.1600 and it still isn't fixed. The same playlist works correctly on desktop. This did not happen before the update.

I am having the same issue; the shuffle doesn't work in my Liked Songs or my playlists. I also have the Spotify version 9.1.62.1600 and iOS version 26.5 on iPhone 16. I have tried all of the troubleshooting tips, turning shuffle + smart shuffle on and off, re-installing the app, and nothing has worked. The team said they are working to fix this bug on the back end but it's been weeks and nothing has changed. I genuinely have to listen to the same handful of songs over and over again and it has made listening to music so unbearable that I barely use the app now. I am not sure how I can fix this.
