Song Title and Album Cover Not displaying on lock screen

My Question or Issue

 When I am playing music from Spotify it has stopped displaying the song and album cover on the lock screen, and will not allow me to pause/play music from the lock screen. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app and the problem still exists.

In this instance, I recommend restarting your phone. It seems that the Messages app has the focus of iOS' lockscreen media controls. This should fix your issue.
