Songs auto-playing from link received in a message.

I am having an issue where anytime I click on a song that somebody has sent me via messages on an iPhone, Facebook Messenger, etc., the song automatically plays after following the hyperlink.  

Is there a way to just open a song in messages and NOT have the song automatically start playing so that I can add it to my queue to hear later? Does the sender need to select a different option when sending or is there a setting for this for the person receiving the song that was sent to them?

What you explain is a normal behavior, as the app is programmed to start playing a song as soon as you open its link.

If you'd like this to change, we recommend you post the idea again in the form of a suggestion. In this article you can find the guidelines to submit it.
