My Question or Issue
When using the spotify LG TV app accessing our spotify account off a IPhone 13 Promax the last 5-10 seconds of the playing song is cut off and the next song begins. It happens regardless of the playlist or song, and happens for every song. The problem does not persist using the iphone Bluetoothed, cast, or through the phone itself, only in combination with the TV. Using a Samsung S21 linked to the TV there is no problem. We have already tried to remedy the problem by adjusting "gapless" "crossfade" and "automix" audio options.

I know you are trying to help but can you not see this is something that is WIDESPREAD across MANY platforms, this can only be something introduced by a recent Spotify software update. Instead of asking PAYING customers to keep trying stuff, what about your developers investigate NOW and roll back to previous software versions until they can work out what error the introduced.
Same issue using Spotify Connect, device is Marshall Acton II Voice(firmware: ns-mmi-FS5332-0000-0128_GVA1.5.4-20_1).
This issue has been occured for a few months, this is the Spotify side problem as it is fine casting when using other platforms.
Good news guys, I think I see a light at the end of the tube 😁. Today I started my LG TV and a software update (firmware for LG device) was available. After the update the problem seems to be solved 😍. I will test it in the next few days.
See attachments for my version history.
Bad news. After about 2 hours of playback with no track truncation, the Spotify app stopped playback completely. The app started, but no more songs from the playlists were played. After reinstalling the app it was possible to play music again, unfortunately with the original problem - the tracks are cut off by 1-9 seconds. Back to the beginning... 😞

My Question or Issue
When casting songs from the Spotify Android app to my TV (LG OLED65B9PLA) the last few (~3?) seconds of each song are skipped. It happens always and to each song, and clearing caches / restarting TV/phone doesn't help.
The problem started to appear about a month ago (as far as I remember) and I didn't change the software on the TV in the meantime.
I've been having this issue with my LG TV and the Roku attached to that TV, for well over a month. Been back and forth with Spotify support on chat and e-mail. They gave me a dummy account to sign into and try. Nothing has worked. I get a lot of the same suggestions from different agents: check crossfade, restart Internet, uninstall and reinstall apps. Nothing works. I downloaded Apple Music yesterday and am trying to get used to that, because I can't stand these tech issues they seem completely bewildered by. Try having every song, or every other song, cut off two to ten seconds before it's supposed to end, do that for over a month, and see if it doesn't drive you completely insane.
Cmon guys, it's been a long time since the first report for this issue. As other users are saying, prices are rising and you offer no support to basic functions malfunctioning. This issue is really annoying. How can we know if you're even working on it or if you don't care and we have to migrate to other apps?
I’m in the same boat with my LG TV, very frustrating…
Same here with my almost new ROKU device.
Seems it is across many devices and more a Spotify issue.
I found the issue, is a timing issue and "ends" of songs are lost, but "Wrap" around into the next song on album.
It is as if every file is "Off" timing wise by about 1-10 seconds
But it varies based on what order you start an album.
I find it hard to believe THEY can not replicate the issue many are having. It seems across many platforms, and has nothing to do with Internet, updates or anything on our end.
If multiple platforms are doing this, HINT HINT, tis on their end or implementation.
Seems completely an issue on "their" end. I am on the Premium Trial period and have a few days left to decide if I will pay to get it.
I love Spotify overall, and the lack of ads, but since this recent issue developed, the issue, is not as much a big deal as is their lack of ability to initiate a fix or even acknowledge they have an issue on their end (most likely)
Is there an update to this post from 8 days ago!? This whole fault was reported a month ago!
I just get more troubleshooting suggestions. I don't think anyone at the company is going to admit there's an issue with their product.
The odd thing, I am able to replicate the issue time after time quite easily.
It seems to be timing issue with playing the music files. I can not believe I am able to figure that out and all we got here were "troubleshooting issues" that all assume the end user does not know what they are doing or has some minor issue.
When my songs near the end, EVERY TIME, it ends early or "Wraps" into the Beginning of the next song.
Songs played from the beginning do not start right AT the beginning but instead usually 5-10 seconds into the song according to the Counter Bar that shows song progress and overall length of song.
I feel like we are trying to help them, but now where are they?

My Question or Issue
The music playing on a selected track is often clipped for the final seconds of play.
I have similar issues on Roku. Sometimes it'll just not let me choose a podcast or track, even outside of queue-ing, I'll push play (after having the queue skip over it and play something random) and it'll just play a few seconds without sound and skip on to whatever it decides to play next.
This is happening to me with my LG speaker. It's very annoying. Is there no fix for this yet?
Looking forward to a solution soon. My main Spotify use is on my HK Soundbar with build in Chromecast and it is now many months that songs are skipped before the end.
Very annoying and considering an alternative streaming provider by now.
Hope there will be solution soon now that is finally taken seriously by devs.
