Spotify Party

Hello,

For some unknown reason I am not being able to find Spotify Party on my app anymore.

I shows me other playlists, which are not mixed and on which I cannot "set the mood".

I have followed the instructions Spotify gives in order to find these Party playlists, but that does not seem to work either.

Does anyone know what may be happening?

Hey Thiago9512! Welcome to the community!

Spotify Party is only available for iPhones and Android devices. Here is how to start a Party on your iPhone. Spotify Party isn't available for iPad yet. If it does not show up on your iPhone, let me know so I can look into it further!

I only use Spotify on my iPhone and it's not showing there.

It used to show until a few months ago, but not anymore.

I have an iPhone 6, with iOS 9.3.5 installed.

Attached you will see the screen shots I just took.

Please note that this is Brazilian Portuguese.

Until a few weeks ago, this used to be shown as "Party", now it is being
shown as "Balada" (a slang that means something like night club, in
Brazilian Portuguese).

When I click on it, I am directed to playlists (usually DJ playlists),
which are played as any other regular Spotify Playlist. I cannot set the
mood of it anymore.

As you can see, my Spotify version is 5.7.0.1055.

Hey!

I wasn't able to see your screenshot. There are a few party playlists. The playlists that support Spotify Party are listed under parties. The playlists under house party aren't supported for Spotify Party. Do the playlists listed under Parties work?

As you can see, they're regular Spotify Playlists and they do not mix the songs nor you can set the "mood"

Hi,

It starts playing the playlist as any other regular playlist.

No mix (songs merge) nor mood to be set and it used to be possible until a few weeks ago.

Hey!

I asked around a bit and unfortunately the mood switch has been removed. The playlists are still mixed and Spotify still has the same range of content! I'm sorry... 😕
