Trouble syncing

Hi all.  I am having so much trouble with this that I think I might be crazy.  I used to have a Toshiba laptop with Spotify, and was able to sync certain playlists to my iPhone and iPad.  I had some for offline use, but was always able to get to every song when online.  My Toshiba bit the dust, and I upgraded to a MacBook Air.  I am no longer able to get to my content via iPhone and iPad when online.  Do I have to go in and re-add all songs to my Spotify playlists on the Mac?  I know I'm making this harder than it has to be.

it's all synced via the Cloud. you should be fine, when you login you'll see all your playlists.
