Unknown device

Unknown device

Hi,

 

an unknown device connected to my account and i tried logging everyone off and changed my password but it still keeps appearing in my Spotify Connect panel.

 What to do?

 

(it’s The last one on The list)

Hey @Monokamph, help's arrived!

 

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, please try a clean reinstall of the Spotify app.

Yea i’ve done both already, but they don’t seem to work.

I know thats a bug of some sort. Because i dont see it on my computer (PC), but only on both my iOS devices.

Is there anything else i can do to repair this?

Thanks for the reply!

Please try the following:

  • open the Connect devices menu (bottom-left corner of the Now Playing View)
  • tap on the three dots next to the unwanted device and select "Forget device"
  • if that option is not available, please try this process again using a different internet connection.

Weird because it only happens when connected to my home wifi.

When i have a chance i’ll check if it happens when im on other wifi.

Its probably a bug and i dont really mind if its fixed.
