Today I've opened Spotify on my iPad and couldn't believe my eyes: there was a mess where the home screen was. I thought it's a bug and opened Spotify on my iPhone. It was the same! Seriously, what the **bleep**?! It's totally unrelated stuff that is hard to navigate about and where is my daily playlists and Discover Weekly? These were features, because of which I switched from Apple Music quite a long time ago. It seems now, that it's time to switch back. Bye-bye Spotify Premium. See you again (maybe) when you fix your home screen.

The UI is fixed! Maybe Spotify should think of informing people of changes for testing. An Opt-in/opt-out option for testing features would be appreciated. This would probably give better reactions than the confusion and anger I felt.

I got the new layout on my iOS devices this morning and am furious. Its just a complete mess. I don't care about podcasts when I use Spotify. 

Such arrogance to test rubbish like this on paying customers without any option to revert.

My iOS app reverted back yesterday and, checking today, it seems to be staying like this.

However, I will not be resuming Premium. One reason is that the future is uncertain. I do not know if the UI change will come back, and I do not see myself using Spotify if the new UI becomes permanent. 

The other reason is the abysmal support from Spotify in the forums and in the direct chat line. 

You can't force customers to test updates, not respond to complaints for over a month, and then expect them to come back happily. 

So I won't.

The new UI is very ugly. The large icons are also very ugly and make it harder for me to find what I want. Please put it back.

My Home Screen has gone back to normal. It’s concerning though that a new group of users is now being subjected to the poorly designed Home Screen. The experiment must not be over!

I just got the update yesterday and I must say that it's straight up horrible. I DO NOT want to go through the same recommended podcasts over and over again just to find a playlist that I could find in a few seconds before. Thinking about switching once my subscription ends.

Can't believe this mess was tested on anyone human. Worst UI change I have ever seen and an absolute disgrace they are forcing this on paying customers.

The Home Screen moved podcasts down one space with the new update. Then 5 minutes later after I shi shut down a reopened it, IT MOVED BACK. Ugh.

Mine just changed to the new “cards” thing. Mainly podcasts I don’t like, and music I’m not interested in. Didn’t enough Android users complain already that maybe you would think to not subject iOS to the same **bleep**?

Agreed. This is absolutely horrible. Have to scroll forever. At least make selections small so they don’t take up the whole screen.

I just recently upgraded my Spotify app, only because I wanted to be able to start a radio station based on my playlists. It was suggested that I update the app, so I did, and I don't like the results. I still can't create stations based on my playlists, but now my individual playlists don't indicate which songs I've liked (💚), and which ones I haven't when I tap the edit option, and the only option I have for each song is to remove it from the playlist; it won't even let me hear it so I can have the option to like it! I really don't see any upside to this new upgrade - seriously considering uninstalling the app, which was fine the way it was - shouldn't have upgraded it in the first place!

Truly we'd love to see the song previews coming back. This new update has been disappointing since the feature was really loved. It helps users find new songs without having to listen to them fully and it helped us remember how songs sound.
